Control Solutions’ i.Report™ uses
cellular technology to provide wireless remote alarm monitoring of
equipment. The architecture is designed to use i.Report to collect
remote data on a central server, and provide access to that data via a
web portal. The web portal is accessible from an ordinary web browser,
using a login name and password. The system is optimized for alarm
reporting and notification via email or SMS.
• Web Based Remote Monitoring Package includes...
- - - i.Report GSM/GPRS wireless remote monitoring device
- - - Remote antenna
- - - SIM card
- - - Web portal account
• Web Portal Account includes...
- - - Activated SIM card (AT&T service)
- - - Web portal account setup
- - - One-year subscription to web portal service
- - - Subscription includes wireless air time*
* Air
time included, but limited to periodic updates, based on 10KB/day
usage. Additional usage billed at $0.01/KB. Most alarm monitoring
applications will use under 10KB/day.
Control Solutions’ i.Report is
designed to perform data logging and alarm reporting with all data
traffic initiated by the wireless device. The i.Report uses HTTP Get
requests to a specially configured server to report data. This approach
maximizes efficiency of wireless air time. It also provides the highest
level of security since i.Report will not accept any incoming Internet
traffic. Only replies to initiated traffic are recognized.
Some
of the best features of i.CanDoIt® are incorporated into this
streamlined adaptation of i.CanDoIt optimized for cellular wireless
Internet.
